atulya
Embracing the tradition within.
Atulya is a mixed-use commercial development undertaken by Phoenix Developers in suburban Mumbai. It is designed to seamlessly fuse elements that support innovation, stimulation, personal wellness and untimely productivity; broadening our perception of the workplace altogether. It fosters collaboration with dynamic, column-free flexible spaces while maintaining room for individual work styles.

design
V&J conceptualised an exclusive and iconic architectural project, that receives natural lighting from any point on its perimeter, thus enriching the lives of its inhabitants with unbeatable views of the city and nature.

The facade design reinforces design elements of order, proportion and modernist form. Retail shopfront, offices, and parking tower have distinct facade language to elaborate and emphasise their function. The retail on the ground floor has a glass facade front infusing an open and clear space for maximum consumer interaction. A lighter grey facade for the Parking tower lightens its heaviness and provides the perfect background for Retail to shine. The kathai / rust cladding inspired by the auspicious Indian Red Soil and glass windows of office floors perfectly combines traditional cultural roots with modernity.

embracing the site
Our design approach begins with a deep respect for the site’s natural features and existing conditions. We prioritize preserving elements that come before us and thoughtfully adapted our plans based on what we discover on-site. Through continuous site visits and real-time design decisions, we ensure the architecture responds organically to its environment—creating spaces that feel authentic, balanced, and seamlessly integrated.

VISUAL IDENTITY + BRANDING
For Atulya, V&J shaped both the architecture and the identity, allowing the brand to emerge naturally from the very principles that formed the space.
Rooted in balance, connected to nature, and grounded in tradition, the visual language reflects the project’s clarity, proportion, and quiet purpose.
Through form, material, and meaning, we crafted a brand that feels whole—an identity that does not sit beside the architecture, but rises from it.
A single vision.
A shared intention.
A place where design and identity become one.
This integrated approach ensures that the project’s identity is not an overlay, but a natural evolution of the design process.
